Campsie Cakes

My name is Ruth and my love of baking started in my mum’s kitchen. A passion for cake decorating quickly followed and with four children of my own, my craft in baking and decorating developed and grew as they did, while also following a nursing career.

I took early retirement from nursing to pursue my dream of making cakes full time. In 2016, Campsie Cakes was established, and our cakes are made and decorated in premises in Huntershill Village in Bishopbriggs. I am supported in the baking department by Joyce, my life-long friend and I am also delighted to have my daughter Heather join our team, with her inspiring craftsmanship in modelling and fine detail.

We pride ourselves on producing excellent quality cakes that not only look good, but taste good too! We make cakes for any Occasion; Baby Showers, Christenings, Birthdays, Religious Events ,Engagements, Weddings, Anniversaries and Retirements ….and any other Occasion you can think of! We also make Cakes for Afternoon Teas; ie. Cupcakes, Date & Walnut Cake, Fruit Loaf, Victoria Sponge… just ask.
